250 volunteers from the Bikers for Humanity community at the Hospital built by Dăruiește Viață: motorcycle showcase, utility climbers dressed as superheroes and a check for 50,000 euros
Dăruiește Viață and Bikers for Humanity Romania organized the “Bikers on the Site” event on Saturday, August 30, 2025, to celebrate Bikers for Humanity’s efforts to support the construction of the Pediatric Medical Campus at Marie Curie. 250 volunteers from the biker community were directly involved, with physical labor, in preparing the construction site and other related activities, and presented their motorcycles to children, parents, and medical staff.
In addition, children hospitalized in the new Hospital built by Dăruiește Viață at Marie Curie had the chance to see their favorite superheroes at the window – a team of utility climbers, dressed as characters beloved by children, cleaned the windows of the new building. On the same day, the Bikers for Humanity team offered the Dăruiește Viață Association a check for 50,000 euros, funds raised following the organization of the Bikers for Humanity Rock Fest 2025 festival for the benefit of Dăruiește Viață. The festival took place in Brezoi, between June 20-22, 2025.

Dăruiește Viață is one of the most well-known NGOs in Romania and the Association behind the #NoiFacemUnSpital initiative, the Children’s Hospital built at Marie Curie, where part of the public hospital wards were relocated. The hospital was operationalized in April 2024, and in its first year of operation it treated over 3,500 children. Dăruiește Viață has expanded the initiative and is building the first Pediatric Medical Campus in Romania – to ensure the same treatment conditions for all children who arrive at Marie Curie, regardless of the department (over 20,000 children/year). Bikers for Romania is a community of bikers from Romania that is involved in supporting social causes. It debuted in 2015 and has implemented house construction projects for families with limited financial means, donated laptops and tablets to children from disadvantaged families and others. The most important achievement is the construction of the Bikers for Humanity Brezoi Cultural Center, a vibrant space dedicated to the community, where culture, education and solidarity meet. Dăruiește Viață and Bikers For Humanity join forces
Bikers For Humanity and Dăruiește Viață (Give Life) join forces to build the Pediatric Medical Campus at Marie Curie Hospital in Bucharest.
At the event on August 29-31, Bikers for Humanity volunteers will prepare the ground for the new Marie Curie Pediatric Medical Campus, the extraordinary project of our friends at Dăruiește Viață.
We only need 150 volunteers and we know from experience that the spots fill up quickly.

👉 Friday, August 29 (evening):
Volunteers from across the country are welcome at the DarkWheels clubhouse (3 Releului Street, Sector 3, Bucharest) where they can camp.
👉 Saturday, August 30, 8:00 AM:
We all gather at Marie Curie Hospital, we start the action of preparing the ground for the Campus.
🏁 Estimated end: 5:00 PM – followed by the awarding of diplomas and a group photo with the Dăruiește Viață team.
Also at that time, Bikers for Humanity will donate the profit obtained from the sale of subscriptions to the Bikers for Humanity Rock Fest 2025 to Dăruiește Viață!

Bikers For Humanity Romania joins the Dăruiește Viață initiative in order to lend a hand in the construction of the Pediatric Medical Campus at the Marie Curie Hospital in Bucharest. This collaboration, which brings together the passion of motorcyclists for good deeds with the desire to make a real change in Romania’s healthcare system, aims to provide children in need with a modern and appropriate place for their treatments.
One of the important steps in the realization of this initiative will be the festival “Bikers For Humanity Rock Fest”, which will take place between June 20 and 22, 2025, in Brezoi, Jud Vâlcea. All profits from the sale of passes to this event will go towards the construction of the Pediatric Medical Campus at Marie Curie Hospital, a place where every contribution counts.
In addition, between August 29 and 31, at least 200 volunteer motorcyclists will be actively getting involved in the work, effectively helping to build the Campus.
This collaboration is extremely important, not only as a partnership between two organizations, but also as an example of how the community can come together to build a better future for children in Romania. Together, Bikers For Humanity and Dăruiește Viață are not only aligning their efforts to build the country they want to live in, but are once again demonstrating their commitment to humanitarian causes and their positive impact.
