Who are we?
Romanian bikers, motor club members or not, and their friends, bikers or not, willingly, together in Bikers for Humanity Romania.
How did we start?
Bikers for Humanity started in the fall of 2015. It was then when the organization Habitat for Humanity invited various public figures to join their teams of volunteers for the project Big Build, in Bacău. Among them, there was the TV and radio man Cristian Hrubaru, renowned for his passion for motorbikes, him being very active in the moto community in Romania (representative of meetings, often seen at charity events organized by Romanian bikers).
The idea to bring together a handful of bikers came to him while installing tiles on one of the houses built at Big Build 2015. A question on FB was enough for him to gather later on 400 volunteer bikers from all over the country, for what was to become the first edition of Bikers For Humanity.
This is just the beginning of a beautiful story about bikers, with wonderful people and huge hearts.
Our goal?
Our mind has incredible power that can do wonders and when it’s supported by a giving heart, the universe can take on another shape. Obviously, it’s the universe of the people around us that were not lucky enough to have everything that each of us has and that we can use to give further.
No matter who you are, where you are and what you have, you can make a difference by becoming more responsible. Let these actions be the beginning of something great!
