More than 300 people headed to the Ploiești Blood Transfusion Center on Saturday morning, May 16, with a single purpose: to donate blood. This campaign has already become a tradition for us, the Bikers For Humanity community. This year, however, the mobilization effort was carried out in partnership with #RomaniaHasRockerBlood, the well-known campaign initiated by the team behind “Morning Glory with Răzvan Exarhu”.

The number of participants last weekend exceeded all expectations, as more than 300 donors crossed the threshold of the transfusion center. Many of them arrived in the early hours of the morning to register, hoping to save time and avoid congestion. A queue had already formed at the clinic entrance around 9:30 AM, when the Bikers For Humanity motorcycle columns arrived in Ploiești. Even though some people had to wait up to three hours, everyone left the donation room smiling. A significant number of participants came especially for this event from distant cities such as Baia Mare, Brașov, and Sibiu.

“I am proud and happy. It is a record number of donors for a BFH-organized campaign. What more beautiful gift could I receive shortly before celebrating 10 years of good deeds? With or without a motorcycle, all good people are welcome to join us in the next decade as well,” said Cristian Hrubaru, founder of Bikers For Humanity.

Donors were welcomed with juices and sweets upon leaving. In addition, in exchange for their cashier cards, they received passes for the Bikers For Humanity Rock Fest 2026, which will take place between June 18 and June 21 in Brezoiul Lumii. All value cards donated by you to BFH will be used entirely to purchase products for the “Survival Kit.” Provided by the ANAIS Association, these kits support victims of domestic violence who are trying to build a new beginning in safety. The kit contains a series of essential items: hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrushes, sanitary pads, face and hand cream, body lotion, deodorant, tissues, razors, baby diapers) and cleaning products (cloths, sponges, laundry detergent, and kitchen and bathroom cleaning solutions).

As previously mentioned, blood donors received festival passes for the Bikers For Humanity Rock Fest 2026 in exchange for their value cards. The audience will enjoy a diverse musical marathon, structured as follows:

Thursday, June 18

The legendary project Phoenix, alongside the explosive energy of Dirty Shirt, the veterans from Antract, the folk-metal sounds of E-an-na, the charismatic presence of Scarlet Aura, and the modern spirit of Overburn.

Friday, June 19

The evening will be dominated by the heavy metal of Trooper and the folk metal of Bucovina. The lineup is completed by the alternative rock of Timpuri Noi, the unmistakable voice of Alexandra Căpitănescu, and the performance by Lovebite.

Saturday, June 20

The evening’s headliners are the titans from Cargo, followed by the infectious energy of Bosquito. om la lună and Dora Gaitanovici will bring a poetic atmosphere to the stage, while Outflow will complete the day’s musical landscape.

Sunday, June 21

The festival concludes with a blend of folklore and modern rhythms by Subcarpați. Fans will be able to sing timeless hits alongside Compact (Paul Ciuci) and enjoy the depth of Celelalte Cuvinte, the power of Gothic, and the enthusiasm of the young band Revolter.
