It was a splendid day from all points of view!
Alongside extraordinary people and friends from Călăre Pe Două Roți, Marveii, Steampunk DECORomania, Mopiel, Magic Moments Cakes, Santa BFH embarked on the journey of bringing a bit of the Christmas spirit to the 33 kids in foster homes in Făurei, called „Orhideea”, in Ulmu called „Floare De Colț” and in Ciocănești called „Lotus”, all from Călărași county.
Our first stop was at „Orhideea” foster home in Făurei.
- As soon as we arrived we started decorating the Christmas tree and kids were the foremost help!
- While the activity inside was in full swing, outdoors there was quite a movement: preparing the gifts for the little ones: coats, boots, sweaters and last but not least, the tablets!
- Besides these, they were about to receive a football ball signed by Romanian National Football Team, in the lead with coach Cosmin Contra, a wall clock to help the kids not to be late for school, but also a sleigh for snowy days.
- Bozo the Clown first took care so that each child receives his/her gift and then used his “magic” to bring sincere smiles on the faces of all kids.
- But also kids prepared for us an emotional moment when they recited poems and sang Christmas carols.
- Because we had already learned what we had to do, we continued our way to the following locations: „Floare De Colț” in Ulmu and „Lotus” in Ciocănești.
By the images taken on the spot, you can relive with us those memorable moments when the 33 institutionalized children sang, laughed, received presents, were happy. Their happiness makes us want to carry on the story.

- We’re kindly asking winter not to reclaim its rights until 22nd of December, when Santa will bring these boots/booties to the 33 children in Făurei, Ulmu and Ciocănești (Călărași).

- The institutionalized children in Făurei, Ulmu and Ciocănești, Călărași county, wait for Santa Claus. We make sure he keeps his word: tablets, sweets, coat, boots, sweaters, toys…

- “Sleigh ride…” (as the Romanian carol says) in this case we’re talking about 3 of them that will be delivered by Santa BFH to the kids in foster homes: „Lotus” in Ciocănești, „Floare De Colț” in Ulmu and „Orhideea” in Făurei, all from Călărași county.
